BEST sound ever!!

Alanis and I are doing our typical Saturday morning routine.
She had breakfast and now we're sitting on the porch. She's in her exersaucer watching all the things going on in the neighborhood and I'm enjoying a cup of coffee while getting caught up on the news via the internet. Life is good.

Big day today! We're going to get Alanis's first professional pictures done. We figured now that she's 6 months old it's the least we could do. My camera takes great pictures and we have plenty, but it's not the same as professional pics with props and all.

After the pictures, we're going to go get me some new glasses and then out to lunch.

Nothing much else new around here.

Alanis is doing breakfast and dinners with baby food now.

I was going to wait until next week when she turned 6 months to add dinner. She's been doing breakfast for 2 weeks now.

Today I decided she's too hungry and enjoys eating her meals more then drinking them. Tonight when I put her in her high chair, she looked confused and once I put her bib on and she saw the baby food jar, her arms and legs went crazy and she was ALL SMILES!!! So I KNOW I did the right thing by adding a meal. She eats a lot neater at dinner then she does breakfast too.



So far I know she's not allergic to.............

Bananas

Sweet Potatoes

Pears

Peaches

Applesauce

She just started peas tonight so hopeuflly we'll add those to the list.



She LOVES bananas.

Likes Pears and Applesauce.

Tolerates Peaches.

Likes the peas so far.

She digs banana flavored puffs and LOVES to eat Banana in the Mesh feeder. Maybe her love for all this banana stuff is because I call her monkey. You think?? She definatley takes after me in the banana department. I ate them like crazy when I was pregnant.

What a wonderful Day!!!

Russ got up with Alanis and I slept until 9:30am. Ahhhh..........................

Then I awoke to this WONDERFUL present.....................

Isn't it so beautiful?? Best Present EVER!!

Alanis is 5 Months Old!!

New things she does:
Rolls over both ways, gabs a lot, turns on her own fish tank in her crib, plays by herself in her crib, is starting to know her name, watches the cats and dogs when they are in the room, pets the dog when he comes to her, hold her own bottle most of the time, holds her toys, puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, eats cereal off the spoon, laughs a lot, spit bubbles.

Things she LOVES:
rolling over across the room, playing in her jumper-roo, watching Yo Gabba Gabba, sitting out side in her exersaucer, day care, gabbing, playing on the floor, grabbing stuff espeically faces, tickles, Oink Oink noises, her changing table, her fish tank

Things she HATES:
Her face being wiped, her nose being sucked or wiped, shopping, the stroller, when mommy takes excessive amounts of pictures!!!
