CONGRATULATIONS RUSS!!

My awsome hubby got a promotion yesterday!
It's so deserved. He works so hard. He's tired and he's worn out, but he keeps on going.

I think part of him enjoys the challenge, however, I know if it wasnt' for me and Alanis, he wouldnt' be doing it. It's a lot stress and a lot of work, but he's so determined to do whats right for Alanis and for me. He wants me to be able to continue working part time or not at all so I can be home with Alanis.

I don't know what I did to deserve such a wonderful man.
I must have done something right.

Anyway, Alanis made him a little gift yesterday................................................












She also smiled nice and big for this picture so that we could get it blown up for Daddy!

Alanis LOVES her new Radio Flyer Wagon!!

6 Months Old!!

My little baby turned 6 months old on Tuesday.

She had her 6 month appointment

Weight: 17 1/2 lbs (73%)
Height: 26 1/2" (80%)

She got shots. Made me so sad.
I think she knows the dr's office now. As soon as I put her on the table and she heard the paper crinkle it was all over. She started crying. Poor baby.

She pretty much sits on her own now. However, she'll still tip over if she's not paying attention or she moves too quick to the right or left.

She's eating 3 baby food meals a day.
LOVES food!!
The daycare can't beleive that she finishes her entire lunch every day.
She finishes ALL her meals everyday. AND has snacks.
She's a good eater that's for sure!

I got her a new Radio Flyer Wagon. The deluxe version. With the awning and storage.
It was her 6 month birthday present:)

Alanis and I are doing our typical Saturday morning routine.
She had breakfast and now we're sitting on the porch. She's in her exersaucer watching all the things going on in the neighborhood and I'm enjoying a cup of coffee while getting caught up on the news via the internet. Life is good.

Big day today! We're going to get Alanis's first professional pictures done. We figured now that she's 6 months old it's the least we could do. My camera takes great pictures and we have plenty, but it's not the same as professional pics with props and all.

After the pictures, we're going to go get me some new glasses and then out to lunch.

Nothing much else new around here.
